Or at least they should provide a way to overwrite it with our own default instead of forcing us to cycle through it as a chosen profile. I don't know why they force those dumb default profiles either. Happy to help and cause all sorts of problems for logitech over this. If not, totally fine, just wanted to give it a shot and ask :D thanks again!

Settings.backup ( I know this is one of the two files you were talking about)ĭo you happen to know if any of those are actually JSON files and they are just not showing as such for me because my PC is funky? lol, I also have several IDEs on here so idk, I need to go through and fix my settings/etc Okay for the 20th time, thank you u/bilyboy65 xD I appreciate you man!ĮDIT* Question. I've been searching all night through Googs and ReddiBoy, yet your thread was the closest I could find to an actual solution.īut then I hit save on that last edit and, immediately after, found another thread where u/Thulkash calls out Logitech for getting rid of the JSON file and making your/someone else's solution obsolete :'( That sucks, I don't get why they do not provide an option to get rid of that freakin' Default, makes no sense to me. Hey, totally fine!!! I appreciate you not only giving the original solution so it could help others, but also replying so quickly! :) Thanks mate!ĮDIT2** ah sorry, you don't need to read the first edit.

I didn't do this, just easier to delete and download all my profiles) If you find the profile you want to copy and move the properties to this it should properly adjust the settings. Save file (This step could probably be used to copy settings to default. delete the whole thing inside the bracket pair.search for "PROFILE_NAME_DEFAULT" (should be one for every game/application, I Think).open settings.json with a text editor (sublime text, textpad, notepad, I wouldn't use word).rename settings.backup to something you'll recognize as the original backup (I renamed it to original_settings).Locate settings.json file on your system (for me it was in \AppData\Local\LGHUB).quit GHUB (so that it no longer appears as a running process in the notification bar or task manager). You could probably copy the settings via something similar. What I finally figured out in order to delete the default profiles. I've been searching this for myself and decided to try and figure out where it's coded.
